Using this site

This website is provided free of charge for personal entertainment. You may play the game, read the word lists and share links to any page.

What you can play here

A subset of word packs is playable in the browser without limit. Other packs include a short preview (ten words) that can be replayed in the browser; the remaining words in those packs require the Charades mobile app. We may change which packs are unlimited or preview-only at any time.

Content

The word packs, artwork, and written guides on this site are ours. You are welcome to use the word lists to run your own games, including at parties, in classrooms and at events. Republishing the packs or artwork as your own product or website is not permitted.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We do not guarantee it will be available without interruption or free of errors, and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use.

The mobile app

The Charades iOS app is governed by its own terms and by Apple's standard end user licence agreement. Purchases and subscriptions made in the app are handled by Apple.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
